About me
My journey into aquatic therapy began with vigorous pursuits in capoeira (an Afro-Brazilian martial art), contact improv, circus arts, and partner acrobatics. As I sought to expand my endurance, flexibility and overcome injury I looked more and more into restorative pursuits to find the balance my body craved. Building from a decade-long foundation in Therapeutic acroyoga which sprang from post training physical therapy, I dove deeper into studying Thai massage, Swedish Massage, and WuoTai (ostheopathic dance) from several lineages in Europe, the Americas & Asia. It was in the letting go of the extreme body tension these athletic pursuits required that I found my freedom in the water. Allowing me to synthesize my unique approach with the healing modality of warm water immersion. The combination of these unique factors provides ineffable relief reconnecting the inner child with the somatic awareness our bodies require to find healing.
