Keira (Dawson) Driver (She/They) is an activist for love and light in the world. Her dream is to help create a world that works for all humans; based in authenticity, radical acceptance and compassion, informed consent, equality, and personal empowerment. She has been making that dream a reality through teaching, event organizing, and community stewardship for the past six years.
She is committed to social justice education through her business (Trans-Formation,
https://transformwithdawson.com/) that is trauma informed, inclusive, and geared towards cis allies, co-workers, friends, and family members. Her life experiences and the identities she holds; trans-femme, childhood abuse survivor, white-labeled, and autistic informs her work and she is dedicated to the process of unlearning how oppressor identities affect her lens and approach. Facilitator trainings offered by New Culture organizers as well as The Transgender Training Institute (
https://www.transgendertraininginstitute.com/) have given her the tools to teach others.
She has worked with various cis-majority groups over the years to create more gender informed spaces that are safer and more comfortable for trans and non-binary folks to exist in. She has accomplished this through teaching workshops, individual coaching, facilitating embodied Gender Experiences, and co-developing systems to relieve the burden of education from those that hold any marginalized identities. This work has been most prominent in her role as an organizer with Center For A New Culture (
https://www.cfnc.us/).
