Healing the world one note at a time, Rubaba enables all beings to realize their full creative and spiritual potential through a transformative practice that combines Ecstatic Kirtan, Ecstatic Dance, and Naad Yoga to foster unity with the divine.

Rubaba is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, classically trained musician, and vocalist with over 30 years of dedication to Naad Yoga. His journey integrates a profound love for music with a quest for deeper spiritual meaning. Trained by esteemed South Asian and Western music schools, Rubaba merges these influences to propagate the philosophy of universal oneness through his music. Drawing from sacred texts worldwide, he crafts a unique devotional singing style that encourages call-and-response participation, deep meditation, and joyful dancing.

Rubaba’s offerings include call-and-response style Ecstatic Kirtan, the ancient tradition of vocal meditation of Naad Yoga and lively Ecstatic Dance. His performances are characterized by intricate soundscapes woven from guitars, keyboards, ethnic flutes, Rubab and percussion, seamlessly blended with electronic elements. Attendees of Rubaba's Kirtan/Ecstatic Dance Workshops often depart with a profound sense of peace, calm, and joy, having experienced a transformative journey through his music.

Rubaba’s Ecstatic Dance sets feature originally produced sounds layered with live vocals and instrumentation.  His sets feature a fusion of multiple genres from all over the world (Indian classical, African, Moroccan, Makam music, Flamenco, Celtic, Punjabi, and upbeat electronica). The sounds and progression is focused to activate heart and throat chakras and create a highly expressive safe space for all participants. Participants are encouraged and welcome to move in the most comfortable manner taking care of their hearts and honoring their minds and bodies.
