The Journey of Becoming 🌶️
Saturday January 11, 2025 9:00am - 10:30am EST
When is the last time you gave yourself space to dive deep within you & ask...  who am I? What is needed of me? How can I serve? How can I show up for the highest good? And what is life inviting me to become? This ritual-style writing practice is here for you to invite more of these questions into your life as a powerful pause for contemplation within a weekend of big transformation — and to potentially leave you with guidance for your journey forward. With nothing but a journal & pen in hand, we will traverse time and space to create a container of curiosity, reflection, and creation utilizing various practices (that might include meditation, gentle movement, partner work, & writing exercises) designed to get you thinking. What comes of this sacred time together is to be determined, but prepare to be surprised (and perhaps delighted) by what is possible when you give yourself the spaciousness to witness, to unfurl, to become..."

Naad Yoga 🌶️
Saturday January 11, 2025 11:00am - 12:30pm EST
Naad Yoga is an ancient practice that combines sound and meditation to bring about a profound sense of integration, harmony, and self-love. Rooted in the principles of Vedanta and the universal vibration of "Om," Naad Yoga uses Indian classical music to help participants quiet their minds and connect deeply with their emotions. The workshop explores the 22 primary emotions (shrutis) expressed through the 60 healing ragas of Indian classical music. Participants will experience these emotions and moods through two specific ragas: Bhairo, which aids in cleansing and releasing unhelpful emotions, and Desh, which fosters joy and happiness. This immersive sound journey aims to align the listener’s chakras, promoting emotional and spiritual well-being.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the science of Naad Yoga, followed by a sequence designed to resonate with and activate the lower chakras through deep bass notes (Kharaj). Participants will then engage with Raag Bhairo, encouraging the release of emotional blockages, particularly at the heart and throat centers, complemented by gentle touch healing. This is followed by the uplifting Raag Desh, which promotes joy and celebration. The session concludes with a debrief, sharing experiences, and a Q&A. Throughout, the practice emphasizes the power of enhanced listening and communal chanting (kirtan) to deepen interconnectedness and spiritual awareness, ultimately guiding participants towards discovering the inner teacher within themselves.

🌶️ Mild: The workshop does not invite sensuality or sexuality. There will be no facilitator invitations to cuddle or share moving touch, plus no welcoming or invoking of sexual energy. Any partner dancing that occurs will default to or center open position.

Putting the Sensual in Consensual: Nonverbal Consent Communication 🌶️
Saturday January 11, 2025 1:30pm - 3:00pm EST
Despite what you may have heard out there, consent doesn’t always have to be verbal—in fact, so much of human communication happens nonverbally that insisting on using words all the time can feel clunky, inadequate, and decidedly unsexy. In this workshop, we will practice moving from embodied desire and letting our bodies do the talking (knowing we always have words if we want them). Learn to identify and express your own body’s yes, no, and the spectrum between, and practice the art of sensing the subtle signs of desire and discomfort in others. Discover the playfulness, presence, and pleasure of finding the sweet spot of mutual desire without words. You will leave with skills to create sensual consensual connections throughout the rest of the festival and the rest of your life!

🌶️ Mild: The workshop does not invite sensuality or sexuality. There will be no facilitator invitations to cuddle or share moving touch, plus no welcoming or invoking of sexual energy. Any partner dancing that occurs will default to or center open position.

Decolonizing Sex: Navigating Power Dynamics in the Bedroom and Beyond 🌶️ 🌶️
Sunday January 12, 2025 1:30pm - 3:00pm EST
Based on the core insights of liberation philosophy and sex-positivity, this workshop introduces a  basic framework for viewing sexual, intimate, and social interactions through a power-informed lens. It covers the ever-shifting and context-based nature of power, the way power can impact consent, and the responsibilities of being in both up-power and down-power roles.
Through scenario analysis, real-world examples, and dyad exercises, students learn the core skills for navigating power dynamics in sexual scenarios: noticing and naming where power lies, somatically sensing when power has been conferred on them or they’ve projected power onto others, and using pauses, invitations, and simple phrases to mitigate possible harm. Students walk away with a fresh new lens for understanding and engaging in intimacy!

🌶️ 🌶️ Medium: The workshop invites sensuality, moving touch, cuddles, or extended close physical contact with others, but does NOT invite sexuality or nudity.

BIPOC Fishbowl 🌶️
Monday January 13, 2025 11:00am - 12:30pm EST
This fishbowl will be a space where Interfusion participants who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color can share transparently about challenges and growth edges at Interfusion. It will be a space to look at how larger social dynamics of oppression and marginalization show up in our community. This fishbowl will be an opportunity for White participants to listen and think about how to show up as allies for BIPOC communities. We will apply principles of emergent strategy to enable White participants to think of specific ways to manifest solidarity.

🌶️ Mild: The workshop does not invite sensuality or sexuality. There will be no facilitator invitations to cuddle or share moving touch, plus no welcoming or invoking of sexual energy. Any partner dancing that occurs will default to or center open position.
