Unlocking Self Expression: Solo Open Form Movement 🌶️
Friday January 10, 2025 9:00am - 10:30am EST
“A solo practice is centered around building a relationship with our imagination”
-Tom Weklser
In this experience, we explore how you move as an individual. While we may occasionally work with others, our primary focus is on making you a more efficient and creative mover. We utilize a practice that explores the common denominators amongst movement disciplines, showing how the same drill can teach a yogi, dancer, acrobat, or even a couch potato to ground, float, meld, mold, or develop any other skill or quality we want through the lens of play. We call this practice "movement."

Your guides will be Dr. Harnoor Singh (@movementwithnoor), a doctor of physical therapy, and Logan DiTillo (@logamotion), a nomadic movement teacher and acrobat. They are well-educated and extremely welcoming teachers of this art. Their goal is to guide you through a playful, eye-opening, and liberating hour and a half of Solo Movement.

🌶️ Mild: The workshop does not invite sensuality or sexuality. There will be no facilitator invitations to cuddle or share moving touch, plus no welcoming or invoking of sexual energy. Any partner dancing that occurs will default to or center open position.

Exploring Connection: Partner Games and Concepts 🌶️ 🌶️
Sunday January 12, 2025 11:00am - 12:30pm EST
“A partnering practice is centered around building a relationship with reality”
-Tom Weklser
In this experience, we explore working with another. Whether we look at our partner as a human being, the space, the floor, an apparatus, the music, or a blank canvas, there is a clear response you receive when working with something outside of yourself—a response that is true and informative. We utilize a practice that draws from many others with the goal of finding common themes and principles across movement disciplines to explore connection, attunement, and discovery through a lens of serious play. Join us for an hour and a half full of partner games, exercises, and explorations that are certain to level up your ability to move within another in your favorite disciplines.

Your guides will be Dr. Harnoor Singh (@movementwithnoor), a doctor of physical therapy, and Logan DiTillo (@logamotion), a nomadic movement teacher and acrobat. They are well-educated and extremely welcoming teachers of this art, and their goal is to guide you through a playful, eye-opening, and liberating hour and a half of Partner-based Movement.
