This class is designed to help you find and feel the groove that makes this genre so irresistibly danceable. The groove..the underlying rhythmic pulse, is the soul of dance, driving movement and connecting dancers with music. You will learn to internalize this groove, allowing your body to move intuitively with music. Feel the music, let the rhythm take control, move your body to the beat, and let the groove guide you.

Join me for a dynamic and immersive experience where participants will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful world of Urbankiz. It is a rhythmic partner dance that originally derived from Kizomba and Semba. Now, it's known for its intricate footwork, smooth body movements, and deep connection between partners.

This workshop is designed for dancers of all levels – from beginners who are just starting their dance journey to experienced dancers looking to refine their skills. Throughout the workshop, participants will learn fundamental Urbankiz steps, techniques for leading and following, partner connection exercises, musicality, and styling.

I will guide you through a series of fun and engaging exercises that focus on developing your ability to connect with your partner through movement and music. We will create a supportive and inclusive environment where you can feel comfortable exploring new steps, building confidence in your dance abilities, and connecting with fellow participants who share a passion for Urbankiz.
