Interfusion Festival X (IFX)

Qi Gong (also spelled Chi Kung or Qigong) is a traditional Chinese practice that involves physical movements, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi" or "Chi." It is part of traditional Chinese medicine and is considered a holistic approach to health and well-being. 
Qi Gong is based on the belief that the body's vital energy flows through energy channels or meridians and that practicing Qi Gong can improve the flow of Qi, promoting health and healing. The practice typically involves slow, gentle movements synchronized with deep breathing and a meditative focus.

In this workshop you will get to fully immerse yourself in being a kid again, remembering the wonderful past and rewriting new empowering experiences. This is a cathartic and fully experiential workshop.

Come join David for a very special immersive sound experience coined the Soul Massage. Participants will be bathed by the sound and vibrations of a massive 54 inch bronze Chau gong accompanied by a 40 inch Nepalese singing bowl gong, a 38 inch Paiste Sedna Planetary gong and a 24 inch Paiste Synodic Moon Planetary gong; very grounding and profound. There will be a short breath work practice before the sound bath to prepare ourselves for meditation. Then everyone will lay down and get as comfy and cozy as possible. Warmth is essential for optimal comfort so be sure to bring plenty of blankets and clothing to ensure this. The heart rate and body temperature drops during this meditation which naturally can cause the hands and feet to get cold easily. Once everyone is comfortable, the sound journey will begin and run for a duration of 60 minutes before coming back out renewed. Come vibrate with us!

Embark on a profound journey of healing and self-discovery at the Cord-Cutting Ceremony, led by Emma Olmedo, at InterFusion Festival X. This transformative workshop is meticulously crafted to guide participants through releasing energetic ties to past relationships, old patterns and reclaiming vibrant, lost aspects of themselves.
The ceremony unfolds with a sacred ritual of setting intentions, laying the foundation for deep inner work. Emma will impart wisdom on energy ties, empowering you with knowledge to understand and dissolve these connections. 
Following this, you'll be guided through a serene visualization accompanied by soft acoustic sounds, identify and releasing energies that no longer serve you. Then, immerse yourself in a reiki-charged sound bath, where the resonance of crystal bowls, gongs, and ocean drum will effortlessly facilitate the release of what no longer serves you. 
Items you may want to bring: Journal and water.
Once the ceremony starts, please keep in mind no participants will not be allowed reentry.

A Cuddle Party is a safe space designed for connection through cuddling and physical touch. It’s a boundaries and communication workshop.
